At Shrewsbury Phnom Penh, education means more than grades. Inspired by nearly 500 years of Shrewsbury tradition, our Floreat Model ensures every student flourishes through three interconnected strands:

  • Academic Excellence: A British-style curriculum adapted for Cambodia, built around IGCSEs and A Levels.

  • Pastoral Care: A strong House and Tutor system that ensures every child is known, supported, and encouraged.

  • Co-curricular Life: Sport, music, drama, and service that build confidence, creativity, and leadership.

" Our guiding values — resilience, integrity, empathy, creativity, and curiosity — shape how students learn and how they live. "

Structure of the Secondary School

Our Secondary School is divided into three key stages, each carefully designed to match students’ developmental needs and aspirations:

Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9)

A broad foundation that builds curiosity, collaboration, and confidence.

Key Stage 4 (Years 10–11)

Focused IGCSE study combining academic challenge with personal choice.

Key Stage 5 (Years 12–13)

A Level and Extended Project study preparing students for university and beyond.

Curriculum Designed for the Future

Global standards with local relevance

Our curriculum is rooted in the National Curriculum for England and enriched with Khmer and Mandarin, ensuring students grow as confident global citizens with a strong sense of Cambodian identity. By combining academic depth with practical learning, the programme builds essential skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, digital literacy, and communication. Through IGCSEs and A Levels, students gain qualifications that open doors to universities around the world, with full BAC II equivalency confirmed in Cambodia.

A World-Class Campus
