Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art campus, located in the established and vibrant Sen Sok area of the city, will open doors to pupils on September 3rd, 2026. The campus will provide for 2 to 18 year olds.
Our extensive campus boasts over 7 hectares of modern, purpose-built educational facilities, that have been specifically designed to deliver our bespoke curriculum and support the Shrewsbury ethos of Floreat learning. It is an amazing stage for ‘whole person’ education and upon which students will flourish.
The campus will host:
- an impressive Performing Arts Centre which houses superb teaching spaces for drama, dance and music as well as performance spaces featuring a 200 seat ‘black box’ theatre and a world-class 600 seat professional grade theatre;
- a richly resourced STEAM subject teaching and learning areas (computer science suites, design & technology workshops, art studios and science laboratories);
- extensive indoor and outdoor sporting facilities including indoor sports courts, an outdoor full size soccer pitch and 400 m athletics track;
- an Aquatics Centre (with a 50 * 25 m Olympic and indoor learner swimming pool),
- landscaped play areas and a ‘forest school’ learning space for primary and early years;
- a lecture hall, auditorium, libraries and modern classrooms throughout;
- support facilities including a medical centre, counselling areas and well-being spaces.
- a primary school with many specialist teaching and learning spaces, normally only found in secondary schools.
The generous space available to us allows for the creation of bespoke, age-specific resources, including dedicated learner pools and separate libraries and dining areas. The entire campus will be unified by a sleek, modern design that reflects our commitment to offering an education that, while steeped in the rich heritage of Shrewsbury School, is forward-looking and geared to preparing our pupils for the future.
The campus will allow the school to develop into a centre of excellence across a number of areas and will provide the local community with excellent facilities and a source of pride.
